Through National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, we, as a nation, reaffirm our commitment to liberty and justice for all. We are reminded that on the first day of the year and every day following, we must each recommit to doing our part to end human trafficking.
Human Trafficking is the fastest-growing criminal enterprise in the world, a profound humanitarian plight, and an extensive public health issue. Human trafficking is not limited to any specific age, race, or socioeconomic status. 1 in 4 human trafficking victims are children.
Project Protect Our Children would like to invite you this January to be part of the solution through the following events. We are working to engage, educate, and empower community members to learn more about human trafficking because we all have a role to play in the fight to end human trafficking.
